How to deep clean your air fryer like a pro

A woman known for her incredible cleaning hacks has shared her exact method for wiping down the famous air fryer to avoid grime building up. 

Mum-of-two from uses a simple method and only a few items to clean her fryer and have it look as good as new. 

Carolina begins by first sprinkling baking soda into the basket of an air fryer and drizzles a good amount of dish soap directly on top.

Next she pours boiling water into the baking soda and dish soap covered basket and allows the mixture to expand and foam. 

She lets the white frothy mixture sit in the basket and allows the cleaning process to happen.

Next she squirts a mixture of half water and half vinegar to the basket slot of the air fryer with a spray bottle.

Carolina wipes down the slot and the entire surface area of the air fryer to remove any grime and grease. 

She then gets a butter knife and covers it with a cloth to clean the hard to reach areas of the fryer, including the lid crevices.

Finally she pours the soda and soap mixture out of the air fryer basket into the sink and rinses the basket well.
