Super light weight ,pretty sharp blade. This is too light for my taste, as I train with it and the o-bokken at the same time. When I opened the box the first thing I noticed was how heavy it was . Packaging was excellent. I will trust these people for another sowed in the near future. The katana cuts completely through water bottles better than many of the videos depict on You Tube. Cold Steel makes good stuff, if only it was made in the USA it would be better. Would recommend this katana whether wealthy or on a budget. Feels good in your hands and its sharp, Very good materials and finishing, I would highly recommend this product, bad thing is that apparently you can’t dissemble this sword ( if someone knows how plz do tell )! I recommend it and HIGHLY recommend it for any Michonne fan! It is fantastic. Everything I expected and it came ahead of schedule. The balance is slightly forward, but has a fantastic overall feel and great look.
I would have given it a full five stars, but the sheathe does not actually fit the blade, so the Katana knocks against the wood when it’s sheathed, unlike the Mashiro that I bought earlier. If that were fixed, it would be an awesome battle ready sword. Im ready for the Zombies. The balance and feel in your hand is awesome. It’s awesome. Very good product for the price. Also their customer support is awesome. I also like its lightness because it can used with speed. I have 2 Wooden Wakazashi Bokken and 1 Wooden Tanto Bokken, and all three are stored because they get chipped and start to split. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the blade doesn’t line up with the handle, making for poor cuts. The coloring is beautiful and it came oiled with a plastic covering to protect the blade during shipping.

Lastly, a well placed strike with a Cold Steel trainer can be just as brutal as a Wooden Bokken strike. I like the feel of it, it goes well with my other two bokkens from cold steel.
I will only use Cold Steel Trainers from now on. This came with some very sharp edges from the casting. Very sturdy, and thick.
